COORDINATION WITH EMERGENCY RESPONSE AGENCIES DURING CRISIS MANAGEMENT AT AN INDUSTRIAL SITE.
The purpose of this presentation was to understand how public emergency services and the private sector coordinate their efforts to optimize their response during disaster management at an industrial site.
This webinar was divided into three main topics.
What can we do in advance?
- Conducting site visits to industrial facilities and joint drills with the fire department and industry.
- Réalisation de document opérationnel ETARE/FIRE partagé entre l’industriel et le SDIS.
- Identify risks and plan the resources and actions to be taken in the event of an incident.
- Highlight the various methods and procedures for emergency response.
What can we do during that time?
- The coordination between fire departments and industry, including roles and responsibilities, the organization of emergency response,
- The tools of the Internal Operations Plan,
- The contributions of firefighters
What can we do after an event?
Some basic guidelines following an incident (such as pumping out and disposing of firefighting water, restoring the site, and conducting analyses and investigations).
