|
Start
A firefighter is certified on the day they pass the certification tests at the Vernon training center. |
End
A foam concentrator is certified for an initial period of 5 years. |
Extension
If the supplier certifies that no changes have been made to the foam concentrate’s composition, its qualification is extended for 5 years. Gesip reserves the right to verify the foam concentrate’s composition throughout the qualification period. |
Number
Since early 2024, Gesip has been issuing a unique qualification number for foam concentrates. A foam concentrate qualified for both hydrocarbons and alcohol has two separate qualification numbers. |
