Born from the meeting of three safety engineers wishing to pool their know-how, Gesip has, since its creation in 1953, kept this singularity which makes its strength and its uniqueness: the sharing of knowledge and skills necessary to improve the safety of industrial and logistic sites.

Gesip is an association under the French law of 1901 since 1979. It is composed of French and foreign industrialists who work to promote and advance the safety of people and installations, as well as to respect the environment.

Some sixty member organizations are now working together for the progress of safety, making Gesip the reference player in industrial safety.

Gesip offers services, training and consulting for industrial and logistics sites. We work in the field of toxic risk control, fire, explosion and crisis management. Our vocation is to contribute to improving safety performance and to promote a strong HSE* culture.

To achieve its mission, Gesip relies on a team of specialists from the industry and fire departments. We bring together a community of industrialists and develop professional standards.
