Founded by three safety engineers who wanted to pool their expertise, Gesip has, since its creation in 1953, maintained the distinctive approach that is both its strength and its unique selling point: sharing the knowledge and skills needed to advance safety at industrial and logistics sites.
Established in 1979 as a non-profit organization under the French Law of 1901, Gesip is now composed of French and international manufacturers dedicated to promoting and advancing the safety of people and facilities, as well as environmental protection. Some sixty member organizations now work together to advance safety, making Gesip the leading player in industrial safety.
Through its actions, Gesip works every day to reduce the likelihood and severity of major industrial incidents.
