Surveillance, Maintenance, Inspection et Réparation des Canalisations de Transport – Guide n° 2022/04

The SMIR guide “Inspection, Maintenance, Inspection, and Repair” is intended to comply with the decree of July 3, 2020, amending the decree of March 5, 2014, which defines the procedures for implementing Chapter V of Title V of Book V of the Environmental Code and establishes regulations for the
safety of pipelines used to transport natural gas or similar substances, hydrocarbons, and chemicals. This guide draws on the collective experience of the industry and was developed by representatives of pipeline “carriers,” members of GESIP, within a committee specifically established for this purpose.
